According to foreign media reports, a 26-year-old man named AK was defrauded by a suspect named Adinda Kinza, who posed as a woman. The suspect carried out the fraud to obtain money from AK. AK said that he met Adinda a year ago on Instagram, after which they started dating.
Adinda always wore a veil during their meetings, which AK thought was due to her religious beliefs. Media reports state that after being in a relationship for a year, the two got married. No one from the bride’s family attended the ceremony, to which Adinda told AK that she had no family and was alone. However, after the wedding, the bride’s distance made AK suspicious.
Twelve days later, AK discovered the truth about his bride and was shocked to learn that Adinda was not a woman but a man. AK also found out that Adinda’s parents were alive. They informed him that he had actually married a man, identified as a young man named ASEH. According to the police, Adinda’s voice and mannerisms were entirely feminine, making it difficult to suspect that she was a man.
