The bank is seeking talented and experienced professionals for the Aitemaad Islamic Banking division.
Position Details:
Position/Job Title: Teller (OG-III / OG-II)
Reporting to: Branch Operations Manager
Educational/Professional Qualification:
Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university/college/institute.
Candidates with a Master’s degree and/or degree/diploma/certification in Islamic Banking will be preferred.
Experience: Minimum 01 year of relevant banking experience.
Other Skills/Expertise/Knowledge Required:
Sound knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations (PRS) regarding Cash Management.
Good understanding of branch banking operations.
Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Receive cash from Branch Operations Manager/Supervisor and record denominations for cashier/sorting functions.
Provide account services to customers by receiving deposits and withdrawals.
Facilitate remittance, utility bills collection, and government receipts/payments.
Ensure effective vault management and holding of cash keys as per bank SOP.
Forward cheques beyond assigned limit to Branch Operations Supervisor/Manager for authorization.
Count and sort cash as per SBP directives, credit customer’s accounts, and maintain related records.
Handle customer requests and maintain highest standards of customer service.
Balance/sort cash, prepare Cash Book, and reconcile cash vouchers and transactions.
Cross-sell bank products and ensure availability and disbursement of fresh cash.
Identify and inform about unusual or suspicious cash flow activities.
Maintain comprehensive records related to daily cash operations and address audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, and Shariah compliance.

Employment Type:
Contractual basis for three years, renewable at the discretion of the Management.
