Positions Available

1. Consultant Emergency Medicine
   • Qualifications: FCPS, FRCS/DAAB in Emergency Medicine or equivalent, valid PMDC registration.
   • Age Limit: 45 years
   • Domicile: Sindh
2. ICU Specialist
   • Qualifications: FCPS in Anesthesia, valid PMDC registration, experience in ER preferred.
   • Age Limit: 45 years
   • Domicile: Sindh
3. Senior Medical Officer (ICU ER)
   • Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS training, valid PMDC registration, 3 years experience in a reputable hospital.
   • Age Limit: 40 years
   • Domicile: Sindh
4. Resident Medical Officer
   • Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS training in Emergency Medicine/Surgery or equivalent, valid PMDC registration.
   • Age Limit: 40 years
   • Domicile: Sindh
5. Resident Medical Officer (Thoracic Surgery)
   • Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS training in General Surgery or equivalent, valid PMDC registration, experience in thoracic surgery preferred.
   • Age Limit: 40 years
   • Domicile: Sindh
6. Resident Medical Officer (Plastic Surgery)
   • Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS training in Plastic Surgery or equivalent, valid PMDC registration.
   • Age Limit: 45 years
   • Domicile: Sindh
7. Assistant Manager Biomedical
   • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with 5 years of experience in a tertiary care hospital.
   • Age Limit: 40 years
   • Domicile: Sindh
8. Staff Nurse
   • Qualifications: Diploma in Nursing, registered with PNC, experience in a reputable hospital preferred.
   • Age Limit: 35 years
   • Domicile: Sindh
9. Staff Nurse (ICU)
   • Qualifications: Diploma in Nursing, with experience in ICU and Cardiology, registered with PNC.
   • Age Limit: 35 years
   • Domicile: Sindh

Terms & Conditions

1. Applications, along with 2 passport-sized photographs, Computerized National Identity Card, domicile, and attested copies of educational and experience certificates, must be submitted by 07 September 2024, 11:59 PM through the SMBBIT website: www.smbbit.gos.pk/jobs. Ensure to note your application number for future reference.
2. The name of the position and the applicant’s mobile number must be clearly mentioned on the application.
3. The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all applications without providing a reason.
4. Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
5. Only shortlisted candidates called for the test/interview.
6. The age limit for all positions is 18-30 years, with a 5-year relaxation as announced by the Government. Retired Army personnel have an age limit of 45 years.
7. Government employees must apply through their respective departments.
8. No TA/DA provided for candidates attending the test/interview.
9. Selected candidates will be offered salaries according to the Trauma Pay Scale. Appointment and regularization of positions are not guaranteed.
