The SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC) was established in 2001 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the State Bank of Pakistan. Serving as the operational arm of the State Bank, SBP BSC is involved in managing currency and foreign exchange operations, offering banking services to the government, financial institutions, and the public, conducting development finance activities, implementing the export refinance scheme, and performing agency functions such as the sale/purchase of prize bonds, prize money draws, and managing national saving instruments schemes. With its Head Office in Karachi, SBP BSC operates through a network of 16 Field Offices across Pakistan.
As part of its ongoing organizational development and change management program, SBP BSC invites talented Pakistani/AJK nationals to apply for the position of Officer Grade-1 (OG-1). This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to build a long-term career in a dynamic organization.
Qualification:
- Position: Officer (OG-1) – 10th Batch
- Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree with 14 years of education in any discipline from HEC-recognized universities/institutions or reputable foreign universities. Candidates with degrees from foreign universities must provide an equivalence certificate from HEC at the time of the interview to confirm their 14 years of education. Candidates awaiting final results by the application deadline are not eligible to apply. Applicants with a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree exceeding 14 years of education not considered.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 24 years as of the application submission deadline.
- Age relaxation of 03 years is provided for candidates from FATA/Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
- Current employees of SBP or any of its subsidiaries may receive a 05-year age relaxation, provided they meet the other eligibility requirements.
Pre-Induction Training: Selected candidates who successfully pass the selection process and complete all pre-induction formalities, including medical and psychological examinations, will undergo “Theoretical Training” (residential) at the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF), Islamabad. Upon successful completion of this training, candidates appointed as Officer Grade-1 at SBP BSC.
Compensation:
- During training, trainees will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 24,500/- along with free boarding and lodging at NIBAF, Islamabad.
- Current SBP BSC employees selected for the program will continue to receive their usual salary and applicable daily/incidental allowances during training.
- After successfully completing the theoretical training, trainees will be appointed as Officer (OG-1) with a consolidated monetized salary of Rs. 49,000/- per month, along with other benefits as per the Bank’s rules.
