Disbursement of Pay & Allowances and Pension of Government Employees / Pensioners of Government of the Punjab for the Month of May 2024
In light of the 1st and 2nd June 2024 being gazetted holidays, i.e., Saturday and Sunday, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to approve that pay & allowances and pension of Government employees/pensioners of the Government of Punjab may be disbursed on 31st May 2024 (Friday), as provided in Note-1 below Rules 5.1 (1) (e), Punjab Financial Rules, Vol-I.
Foregoing in view, you are requested to take further necessary action accordingly for the disbursement of pay & allowances and pension on 31st May 2024 (Friday), Positively.
