BISP Sindh Supports Deserving Women with Rs 633.979 Million Disbursement
In a significant effort to uplift deserving women across Sindh province, the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has disbursed a total of Rs 633.979 million to 60,379 beneficiaries. This initiative, conducted under the Benazir Kafalat program, targeted women in eight districts of Sindh, encompassing both Karachi Division and Hyderabad.
The disbursement process was meticulously handled by the BISP administration, ensuring transparency and efficiency. Without any deductions, each deserving family received quarterly financial assistance of Rs 10,500. The program aims to empower women and provide crucial support to low-income families.
Director General of BISP Sindh, Zulfiqar Ali Sheikh, emphasized the program’s commitment to fairness and transparency in disbursing stipends. To address any grievances or complaints, a dedicated task force and complaint cell were established at the Central Zone office in Karachi. Beneficiaries can also seek assistance through the BISP helpline number at 0800-26477.
During the disbursement process, basic facilities such as clean drinking water, seating arrangements, and shade were made available at all 34 camp sites established across the eight districts of Sindh. This comprehensive approach ensures that deserving women receive their due stipends without any inconvenience.
Overall, the BISP’s efforts aim to provide vital financial assistance to deserving women, contributing to their empowerment and well-being across Sindh.
Benazir Income Support Program Announcement
The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) will initiate the disbursement of the Benazir Kafalat Educational Jobs installment from April to June 2024 in two phases through designated centers.
The installment amount for Kafalat for three months is Rs. 10,500. The first phase includes the following districts:
- Islamabad
- Balochistan province
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir
- Gilgit-Baltistan
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province
- Sindh province
- Punjab province
- Peshawar, Mardan, Malakand
- Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Rawalpindi districts of Karachi Division
- Hyderabad district of Sargodha Division
- All districts of Wah, and Hazara Division
Beneficiaries from these districts should visit the designated centers to collect the disbursement after receiving message B171.
Remaining districts will be included in the second phase.
