Eligibility Criteria and District-Wise Quota for Apni Chhat Apna Ghar (ACAG) Housing Program Punjab

The Punjab Government has recently launched the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar (ACAG) Housing Program, aimed at providing interest-free loans to eligible residents for house construction. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the ACAG Housing Program in Punjab, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Family Head: The applicant must be the head of their nucleus family according to NADRA records.
  2. Permanent Resident: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Punjab as per their CNIC.
  3. Land Ownership: The applicant must own and possess a parcel of land measuring up to 5 Marlas in urban areas or up to 10 Marlas in rural areas in Punjab on the date of the online application submission, where they intend to build their house.
  4. Criminal Record: The applicant should not have a criminal record involving anti-state, anti-social, or heinous crimes.
  5. Loan Status: The applicant should not be a defaulter on loans from any financial institution or bank.
  6. NSER Registration: The applicant must be registered with the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) in a household with a PMT score of 60 or less.

District-Wise Quota for Loan Distribution

The Punjab Government has divided the province into three zones: Center Zone, North Zone, and South Zone. The district-wise allocation of loans is as follows:

Center Zone

  • Bhakar District: 283 loans
  • Khushab District: 243 loans
  • Layyah District: 366 loans
  • Mianwali District: 307 loans
  • Muzaffargarh District: 714 loansTotal for Center Zone: 1913 units, Grand Total: 4423 units
  • Faisalabad District:
    • Chiniot: 313 loans
    • Faisalabad: 851 loans
    • Jhang: 451 loans
    • Sargodha: 520 loans
    • Toba Tek Singh: 376 loans

    Total for Faisalabad: 2511 units, Grand Total: 4423 units

North Zone

  • Lahore District:
    • Gujranwala: 657 loans
    • Hafizabad: 302 loans
    • Kasur: 484 loans
    • Lahore: 1690 loans
    • Nankana: 314 loans
    • Narowal: 357 loans
    • Okara: 518 loans
    • Pakpattan: 401 loans
    • Sheikhupura: 512 loans
    • Sialkot: 570 loans

    • Chakwal: 263 loans
    • Gujrat: 466 loans
    • Jhelum: 255 loans
    • Mandi Bahauddin: 358 loans
    • Rawalpindi: 600 loans

    Total for Rawalpindi: 2198 units, Grand Total: 8003 units

South Zone

  • Bahawalpur District:
    • Bahawalnagar: 454 loans
