SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the following positions based in Islamabad under the project titled “Project Planning and Development Unit of MNFS&R” at the Ministry of National Food Security & Research. These posts are purely on a contract basis, initially for one year, with the possibility of yearly extensions based on satisfactory performance until the project’s completion. The positions will be filled strictly on a merit basis.


1. Planning and Development Specialist (PPS-08)

Number of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 25-40 Years
Qualification/Experience:

  • Master’s degree/16 years of education in Development Economics or related disciplines.
  • 7 years of post-qualification experience in the Public/Private sector, preferably in the agriculture/food security sector.
  • 5 years of experience in planning and implementation of projects.

2. Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist (PPS-08)

Number of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 25-40 Years
Qualification/Experience:

  • Master’s degree/16 years of education in MBA/Economics/Social Sciences/Project Management or related fields.
  • 7 years of post-qualification experience in the Public/Private sector, preferably in the agriculture/food security sector.
  • 5 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) in public/private sector projects.

3. Assistant M&E Officer (PPS-07)

Number of Posts: 02
Age Limit: 25-40 Years
Qualification/Experience:

  • Master’s degree/16 years of education in MBA/Economics/Agri-economics/Social Sciences/Development Sciences or related fields.
  • 5 years of post-qualification experience in the Public/Private sector, preferably in agriculture/food security.
  • 3 years of experience in M&E and Planning in public/private sector projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

4. Assistant P&D Officer (PPS-07)

Number of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 25-40 Years
Qualification/Experience:

  • Master’s degree/16 years of education in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent degree.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in the development of computer-based office management tools and maintenance/management of hardware and other IT equipment.

5. MIS Officer (PPS-07)

Number of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 25-40 Years
Qualification/Experience:

  • Master’s degree/16 years of education in Accounts & Finance, MBA (Finance), Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or Project Management from HEC-recognized institutes.
  • Preference given to candidates with PIPFA certification.
  • 5 years of experience in Admin and Finance matters in the public/private sector.

6. Admin & Accounts Assistant (PPS-06)

Number of Posts: 02
Age Limit: 20-30 Years
Qualification/Experience:

  • Master’s degree/16 years of education in relevant fields.

7. Messenger (PPS-1)

Number of Posts: 02
Age Limit: 20-30 Years
Qualification/Experience:

  • Matriculation.

Note:

  2. Standard criteria, general instructions for recruitment, and shortlisting of candidates as per the recruitment policy of the Establishment Division will be followed.
  3. Candidates already in Government service should apply through the proper channel.
  4. Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.
  5. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in tests/interviews.
  6. Original documents, including educational degrees, diplomas, experience certificates, CNIC, application forms, and CVs, will be checked at the time of the test/interview.
