Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems with 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
  OR
• Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences, MBA in IT, or MBA in CIS/MIS with 7 years of relevant professional experience.
  Age Limit: Up to 62 Years
  Pay Scale: MP-II

2. Deputy Director (IT Infrastructure)
Number of Posts: 01
Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Ph.D. in relevant subjects (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, GIS, MIS, IT) with 3 years of professional hands-on experience in IT/Networks/IT Infrastructure.
  OR
• Master’s Degree in relevant subjects (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, IT) with 5 years of hands-on experience in servers, routing, switching, and firewalls. Only hands-on experience will be considered.
  Age Limit: Up to 62 Years
  Pay Scale: MP-III

Terms & Conditions for Railways Jobs 2024 Online Apply:

• Recruitment will follow the updated MP Scales Policy, 2021 issued by the Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan (O.M. No. 1/3/2020-E-6/E-8 dated 24-05-2021).
• Appointments will be on a contract basis for an initial period of three years, extendable for up to two additional years on an annual basis, subject to satisfactory performance.
• Detailed Terms of Reference (TORS), including the pay package and short-listing criteria, are available on the websites www.pakrail.gov.pk and www.railways.gov.pk.
• Interested candidates who meet the qualifications and experience criteria should apply via the National Job Portal (NJP) at njp.gov.pk by 11th September 2024.
• The place of posting will be at the Pakistan Railways HQ Office, Lahore, but candidates may be posted anywhere in Pakistan as required.
