The National Centre for Physics, Islamabad, is seeking qualified individuals for the following contract-based positions. Applicants must meet the relevant qualifications and experience requirements.

Manager (Technical) (BPS-18/Equivalent)
Qualifications:
PhD in Engineering (Metallurgy/Electrical/Electronics/Computer/IT)
PhD in Physics/Material Science
PhD in Computer/IT
BCS/BIT (4-year degree) with 1st Division and 6 years of relevant experience
BE/BSc Engineering (Computer/IT) with 1st Division and 6 years of relevant experience
MSc Engineering (Computer/IT) with 1st Division and 4 years of relevant experience
Assistant Manager (Technical) (BPS-17/Equivalent)
Qualifications:
BE/BSc Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical) with 1st Division
MS/MSc Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Systems) with 1st Division
BS/MSc (16 years) in Artificial Intelligence/Electronics with 1st Division
MS/MPhil (18 years) in Artificial Intelligence/Electronics with 1st Division
BS/MSc in Physics/Chemistry with 1st Division
Assistant Manager (Technical) (BPS-17/Equivalent)
Qualifications:
BCS/BIT/BSE (4-year degree) in Computer Science/Software Engineering with 1st Division or equivalent
BE/BSc Engineering (Computer/IT) with 1st Division
MCS with 1st Division after a 4-year BCS/MSc Engineering (18 years) in Computer/IT with 1st Division
BS/MSc (16 years) in Mathematics with 1st Division
3-year Diploma of Associate Engineer in Electronics/Information & Communication Technology/Electrical/Telecom/Computer/Instrumentation/Mechanical/HVAC/Auto & Diesel with 1st Division from a recognized Polytechnic Institute
OR Matric and retired Hav/Equivalent (VM) from Pak Army/Navy/Air Force
Tech- (BPS-7/8 Equivalent)
Qualifications:
3-year Diploma of Associate Engineer in Mechanical/Electrical with 1st Division from a recognized Polytechnic Institute
OR Matric with Science (1st Division) and 2 years apprenticeship/certificate in Electrical/Mechanical plus 2 years of experience as Electrical technician/Fitter
Tech- (BPS-5/6/Equivalent)
Qualifications:
Matric with Science with a minimum of 2nd Division (at least 50% marks) and 6 years of experience as Plumber/HVAC technician
OR Matric with Science with a minimum of 2nd Division (at least 50% marks) plus a 1-year technical course (technical/drafting) and 5 years of experience as Plumber/HVAC technician
Lab Attendant/Tech-IV (BPS-1/4/Equivalent)
Qualifications:
Matric with Science with a minimum of 2nd Division (at least 50% marks) and an aptitude test
A 3rd Division is not acceptable in the entire academic career.
Preferably, candidates should have a first-class academic career. However, one second division (50% marks) is allowed except in the final degree, where a first division (60% marks or CGPA 3.0/4.0) is required.
First class degree means a minimum of 60% marks for the annual system or CGPA 3.0 out of 4.0 for the semester system. Second class means a minimum of 50% marks for the annual system or a minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 for the semester system.
The maximum age limit on the closing date of the advertisement is 35 years. Age relaxation may be granted as per rules.
Candidates must obtain their educational degrees from institutions/universities recognized by the Higher Education Commission and registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (for Engineering Degrees)/Board of Technical Education/Govt Recognized Institutes.
Post-qualification experience means the experience gained after obtaining the required qualification until the closing date.
Candidates employed in Govt./Semi Govt. Organizations must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employers at the time of the test/interview.
The responsibility for the correctness of the data lies solely with the candidate. Only candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria should apply. Those who do not fulfill the requirements, provide incorrect/fake data, or conceal data and apply for any of the above positions may have their candidature canceled at any stage during the selection process or subsequently, and no claim will be accepted during or after selection.
Selected candidates may be considered for advance increments and ante-date seniority as per rules.
The venue for written tests/interviews is Islamabad. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
Individuals with dual nationality or married to foreign nationals are not eligible to apply.

Candidates with O/A Levels should provide equivalent marks (given by IBCC) in the application.
Compliance with the advertised criteria does not guarantee shortlisting. If a large number of applicants meet the prescribed criteria, further shortlisting may be conducted based on higher grades in the respective degree/relevant experience/any other criteria deemed appropriate by the organization.
