Notification of Announcement Budget 2024-25 on 24th May 2024 for KPK
Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Finance Department issued a Notification on 21-05-2024 regarding the Announcement Date of Budget 2024-25 for KPK on 24th May 2024. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has decided to present the annual budget 2024-2025 ahead of the Federal Government. The Federal Government had previously issued the Notification of the Date of Announcement of Budget 2024-25 Pakistan on 7th June 2024. The details are as follows:

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to inform you that consequent upon the approval of the Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Cabinet has decided to present the Annual Budget of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the fiscal year 2024-25 before the Provincial Assembly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 24th May 2024. A copy of the Summary duly approved by the Chief Minister is enclosed herewith for your information.
I, therefore, direct to request that the Session of the Provincial Assembly be kindly convened on 24th May 2024 at 3:00 P.M.
Convening of Provincial Cabinet Meeting
I direct to refer to the subject noted above and to state that the Annual Provincial Budget for the year 2024-25 will be presented before the Provincial Assembly on 24-05-2024 at 1500 hours. A copy of the Summary, duly approved by the Honorable Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is enclosed herewith. Before Budget Estimates 2024-25 are presented to the Provincial Assembly, these require approval of the Provincial Cabinet as per Rules of Business, 1985.
I am, therefore, directed to request that a special budget meeting of the Provincial Cabinet may kindly be convened on 24-05-2024 at 1500 hours. The following will be the agenda items:
Revised Estimates, 2024-24 and Budget Estimate, 2024-25
Annual Development Programme 2024-25
Resources Mobilization Measures / Finance Bill 2024-25
PFC Recommendations for 2024-25
The summaries for the Cabinet on the above items will be circulated by Finance and P&D Departments prior to the commencement of the meeting.
It is, therefore, requested that further necessary action be taken in this regard under intimation to all concerned.
