Pakistan Armed Services Board (Ministry of Defence) – Vacant Positions

The Pakistan Armed Forces are inviting applications from retired personnel for the following positions. Please attach copies of your CNIC, discharge certificate, 3 passport-sized photographs, and domicile with your application:

Positions Available:

1. Assistant Private Secretary (APS)
   • Location: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Armed Services Board Directorate, Peshawar and Gilgit-Baltistan Armed Services Board Directorate, Gilgit
   • Scale: 16
   • Age Limit: 50 years
   • Qualifications: Retired JCOs (Clerks) from Pakistan Army, Navy, or Air Force with typing speed of 50 words per minute and shorthand speed of 100 words per minute.
2. Assistant
   • Location: District Armed Services Boards (DASBS) Faisalabad, Mianwali, and Gilgit
   • Scale: 15
   • Age Limit: 50 years
   • Qualifications: Retired JCOs from Pakistan Army, Navy, or Air Force with office experience. IT course from NITB must be completed during the probation period.
3. Upper Division Clerk (UDC)
   • Location: District Armed Services Boards (DASBS) Gujrat (2 positions) and Gujranwala
   • Scale: 13
   • Age Limit: 45 years
   • Qualifications: Retired Havildar (Clerk) from Pakistan Army or equivalent from Navy or Air Force with typing speed of 30 words per minute. IT course from NITB must be completed during the probation period.
4. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
   • Location: District Armed Services Boards (DASBS) Bahawalnagar, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Rahim Yar Khan (2 positions)
   • Scale: 11
   • Age Limit: 45 years
   • Qualifications: Retired Naik, Lance Naik (Clerk) from Pakistan Army or equivalent from Navy or Air Force with typing speed of 30 words per minute. IT course from NITB must be completed during the probation period.

2. Incomplete applications not be considered.
3. 3% quota reserved for disabled persons and 5% for minorities.
