Quotas and Jurisdiction of Pakistan Railway Jobs 2024 Application Form

• Items No.1 to 5: Only applicants who are permanent residents or possess domicile of the area/region against whom quota vacancies are available.
• Item No.6: Applicants eligible based on domicile in the Civil Districts & Tehsils under the territorial jurisdiction of respective Railway Administrative Divisions (Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Sukkur, Quetta & Karachi).

Additional Quotas (Items No. 1-7)

• 5% quota for Minorities/non-Muslims
• 5% quota for orphans/destitute
• 2% quota for disabled persons (where applicable)

Age Limit

• General: 18-25 years + 5 years General Age Relaxation on the closing date
• Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Sindh Urban/Rural & Balochistan: Additional 3 years relaxation
• Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation up to 15 years or actual years served in Armed Forces, whichever is less
• Government servants and contract employees with 2 years continuous service: Relaxation by 10 years up to age 55
• Disabled candidates: Relaxation by 10 years
• Widow or child of deceased Civil Servant: Relaxation by 5 years

• Eligibility Determination: Eligibility will be based on the applicant’s qualifications, performance in the written test, and interview (70% Written Test + 30% Interview).

• Selection Requirements:
  • Pass prescribed medical examination and clearance by security agencies.
  • Undergo specified training.
