CAREER OPPORTUNITY
The Project Director of the Thar Rail Connectivity Project invites applications from qualified professionals for the following positions on a contract basis. The contract period is initially one year, extendable for up to two additional one-year periods based on satisfactory performance or until the project’s completion, whichever comes first.

| Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) | 1 | PPS-7 | – Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, registered with Pakistan Engineering Council as a Professional Engineer. – Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in supervision, execution, recording of measurements, monitoring, and controlling of infrastructure projects (Railways/Buildings & Roads/Highways, etc.). – Proficiency in Quality Assurance and Quality Control. – Preference for candidates familiar with MS Project, Primavera, and planning tools and techniques. |
| Office Superintendent | 1 | PPS-6 | – Graduate, preferably in Public Administration or Computer Science. – Qualification can be relaxed with over 15 years of project experience. – Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in administrative roles, project record maintenance, and correspondence. – Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and good typing speed. |
| Computer Operator | 1 | PPS-4 | – Bachelor’s or IT Diploma holder. – Preference for candidates with qualifications in Information Technology or Computer Science. – Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Computer Operator. – Knowledge of computer hardware/software, operating systems, and applications like MS Office. |
| UDC (Upper Division Clerk) | 1 | PPS-4 | – FA/F.Sc. in Second Division. – Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience as a Clerk/Record Keeper. – Experience in record-keeping, receipt & dispatch of DAK, and maintenance of registers and files. – Preference for computer-literate candidates with MS Office certification. |
| Bridge Inspector | 1 | PPS-6 | – DAE (Civil). – Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in supervision, execution, inspection, and testing of infrastructure works (Bridges and Culverts, etc.). – Proficiency in survey instruments (Total Station, Theodolite, Level Machine) and survey works, including leveling, layout, and alignment. – Ability to interpret construction drawings, prepare shop drawings, and bar bending schedules. |
| Signal & Telecom Inspector | 1 | PPS-6 | – DAE (Electrical/Electronic). – Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in supervision and execution of Railway Signaling related works. – Ability to prepare drawings of yards, interlocking, and signaling arrangements. |

Important Notes
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
- The number of posts may be increased or decreased as per the requirement.
- Candidates may be disqualified at any stage of the recruitment process for providing fake documents, false information, or using influence.
- Selected candidates must serve at the project locations, including Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, and other project sites. Requests for transfers will not be entertained.
- Appointments are purely on a contract basis, with an initial probation period of 6 months included within the one-year contract.
- No TA/DA will be provided for interviews.
- Government/semi-government or autonomous institution employees should apply through proper channels with a departmental No Objection Certificate.
- Preference will be given to candidates with public sector experience.
- Management reserves the right to select, reject, or not fill any advertised position without assigning any reason.
Note: The selected positions are specific to the project location, and the contract does not confer any entitlement to regular/contractual appointment or regularization.
