The Office of Ombudsperson Punjab is working on the Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2010 and the Punjab Enforcement of Women Property Rights Act 2021. The Ombudsperson Punjab, being the competent authority under Section 7(4) of the Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2010, invites applications from eligible candidates, having Punjab domicile, for its eight (08) regional offices (Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Gujranwala, Multan, Faisalabad, DG Khan, Sargodha, and Rawalpindi) for the following posts. These positions are offered on a lump sum for a period of six (06) months and daily wages for eighty-nine (89) days contract, purely on a temporary basis (extendable on satisfactory performance):

  1. Stenographer
  • No of Posts: 05
  • Salary: 60,000/-
  • Qualification/Experience: Intermediate (Second division) from a recognized Board. Shorthand speed of 70 WPM in English and typing speed 35 WPM.

INSTRUCTIONS: (READ CAREFULLY)

  4. General age relaxation in upper age limit will be permissible as per Government of Punjab, S&GAD Notification No.SOR-I(S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated May 21, 2012.
  5. Ensure you are physically fit, healthy, active, energetic, willing to work long hours, and possess good interpersonal skills before applying.
  6. If we find the required information incorrect, false, forged, or withheld during scrutiny of the original documents at the time of the test/interview, we will reject the application and prosecute the applicant in accordance with the law
