ADMISSION NOTICE FOR CLASS VIII – 2025

Applications are invited for admission to Class VIII for the academic year 2025. Interested candidates can download the application form from the College website www.rangercadetcollege.edu.pk or collect it in person from Rangers Cadet College Chakri, Rawalpindi.

Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Qualification: Must have passed or cleared Class 7 on or before 01 April 2025.
Age Limit: Between 12 and 14 years as of 01 April 2025. A waiver of up to 90 days on the upper and lower age limits can be granted.
Ineligibility:
- Withdrawn from any Provincial Government’s Cadet College due to discipline or character issues.
- Tempered certificates or documents.
- Overage/underage candidates.
- Declared UNFIT by a medical board.
- Providing misleading information in the application form.

Selection Process:

Admission will be based on the following:

Written Test
Intelligence Test
Interview
Medical Examination

Written tests will be conducted in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Bahawalpur, Mandi Bahauddin, and Sialkot.

Important Dates:

Written Test: 17 November 2024
Interviews: January/February 2025
Commencement of Classes: April 2025

(PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE FILLING OUT THE FORM)

Eligibility Criteria:
- Academics: Must have passed Class 7 or 8 on or before 01 April 2025.
- Age Limit: Between 12 and 14 years as of 01 April 2025 (a waiver of up to 90 days can be granted on both upper and lower age limits. A maximum age waiver of 6 months granted to Hafiz-e-Quran).

Checklist for Applicants:
- Photographs: Provide 4 passport-size photographs, attested from the front by the Principal/Headmaster of the school. One photograph should be pasted in the specified space on the front page of the admission form, and the remaining three should be pasted on the written test, identification, and intelligence test/interview sections.
- Fee Payment: Attach the original online admission test fee deposit slip or bank draft in favor of “Principal Rangers Cadet College Chakri Rawalpindi” with the application form. The test fee details are as follows:
  - Wards of Rangers (Soldiers/Inspectors) (Serving/Retired) – Rs. 1500/-
  - Wards of Rangers Officers (Serving/Retired) – Rs. 2000/-
  - Wards of Defense Forces/CAFs (Serving/Retired) – Rs. 2000/-
  - Wards of Civilians Paid out of Defense – Rs. 2500/-
  - Wards of Civilians – Rs. 3000/-
- Envelopes: Attach 4 self-addressed envelopes (9 x 4 inches). Write the name, father’s name, mobile number, and complete mailing address on each envelope. The college will not be responsible for lost mail due to incomplete or incorrect addresses.
- CNIC Copy: Provide an attested copy of the candidate’s father’s CNIC.
- Form B Copy: Provide an attested copy of the candidate’s Form B.

Important Notes:

Incomplete application forms not accepted.
Do not fold the application form. Pack it in an A4 or legal-sized envelope before dispatching.
Applications without the entrance examination fee (deposit slip or bank draft) not entertained.
Submit the application through Pakistan Post only, preferably using registered mail or UMS.
