Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) 

Eligibility Criteria for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program:

1. Parent’s Eligibility:
   • The student’s mother must be eligible for the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).
2. Age Limit for Children:
   • Primary: 4 to 12 years
   • Secondary: 8 to 18 years
   • Higher Secondary: 13 to 22 years

Registration Procedure

1. Visit BISP Office:
   • Take the children to the nearest Benazir Income Support office.
2. Submit Documents:
   • Provide the officer with the child’s form and the verified mobile number of the household head.
3. Receive Enrollment Slip:
   • The officer will process the registration and issue an enrollment slip.
4. Complete School Enrollment:
   • Have the slip completed by the child’s school. Ensure that the class teacher’s details and the head teacher’s information are recorded.
5. Submit Completed Slip:
   • Return the completed slip to the Benazir Income Support office. Ensure the slip includes the child’s class, section, class teacher’s name, and teacher’s details.
6. Verification and Scholarship:
   • Upon verification of the enrollment slip, the scholarship will be granted.

Scholarship Amounts for Registration Procedures for Joining the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program

• Primary Education:
  • Girls: PKR 3,500
  • Boys: PKR 2,500
• Secondary Education:
  • Girls: PKR 4,500
  • Boys: PKR 4,000
• Higher Secondary Education:
  • Girls: PKR 3,000
  • Boys: PKR 2,000
• Bonus: PKR 3,000 upon completion of primary education for girls.

Important Notes

• The scholarship will continue as long as the child’s school attendance is above 70%.
• If the child changes schools, it is essential to inform the Benazir Income Support Programme.

How to Register Online for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif

Step 1: Visit the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) official website at https://www.bisp.gov.pk.

Step 2: Click on the “Portal” tab and select the “Beneficiary Information” tab.

Latest Step 3: Enter your CNIC number in the search box and click “Search.”

Step 4: If you are eligible, you will be directed to a registration page. Complete the required information on this page.

Step 5: Upload the requested documents as specified.

Step 6: After filling out the form and uploading the documents, submit your application.

How to Register Offline for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif

Step 1: Visit the nearest Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) office with your child’s NADRA Bay Form for identity verification.

Step 2: Send an SMS to 8171 to verify if you are eligible. You can also check your eligibility on the official website.

Step 3: If you qualify, BISP will provide you with financial assistance, including educational scholarships and stipends.
