Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) Re-advertised Positions Loan PAK-3845: Sindh Secondary Education Improvement Project (SSEIP) Asian Development Bank (ADB)
Purpose and Scope
The Government of Sindh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to enhance the secondary education system in the province of Sindh. The aims are to build new secondary school blocks, improve teaching and learning capacity, and reform the secondary education examination system.
Available Positions
CS19 – Assistant Engineer
Scope of Work: The Assistant Engineer will work under the guidance of the Project Civil Engineer or assigned staff on all engineering matters related to sub-projects and additional financing of SSEIP. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, preferably Primavera, excellent communication, and analytical skills are necessary. The candidate must be available for regular project site visits and work under the guidance of the Project Director (PD) or assigned staff on SSEIP and additional financing projects.

CS20 & CS21 – Sub-Engineer
Scope of Work: The Sub-Engineer will work under the additional financing of SSEIP. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and relevant applications is essential. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are necessary. The candidate must be available for regular project site visits and work under the guidance of the Project Director (PD) or assigned staff on SSEIP and additional financing projects.

CS25 & CS24 – Procurement Officer
Scope of Work: Under the supervision of the Project Director or assigned staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement contracts in compliance with ADB procurement regulations and project rules.
Education & Experience: The candidate must have at least 16 years of education in Engineering, IT, Law, Management, or other relevant fields, along with professional training and certification courses in procurement with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in advanced MS Office and MS Excel, along with skills in managing complex and large datasets, is essential. The Procurement Officer will work under the guidance of the Project Director (PD) or assigned staff on SSEIP and additional financing projects.
The Project Implementation Unit (PIU-SSEIP) of the School Education and Literacy Department (SELD), Government of Sindh, is the implementing agency responsible for the overall implementation and execution of the project. PIU-SEEIP seeks Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from suitable and qualified individuals for the above-mentioned consultancy services.
