Senior Project Manager Position Available

The Sindh Social Protection Authority (SSP), under the Government of Sindh, invites qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Senior Project Manager (SPM). This role is part of the Project Management and Implementation Unit (PM&IU) for the project “Strengthening Social Protection Delivery System in Sindh (SSPDSS)” funded by the World Bank through IDA Loan Credit No. IDA/7229.pk.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • A Master’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in social policy, operations management, procurement, or related fields.

Alternatively:

  • A Ph.D. with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the same fields.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years (for Master’s degree holders) or 6 years (for Ph.D. holders) of experience in leading large-scale social sector development programs, preferably in health and social protection sectors.
  • Proficiency in strategic planning, policy formulation, project management, and monitoring and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Operations Management: Developing operational manuals, procurement plans, and monitoring and evaluation plans.
  • Reporting: Preparing semi-annual and annual reports for submission to the World Bank and other relevant agencies.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaising with various stakeholders, including private sector entities and development partners.
  • Policy Implementation: Ensuring compliance with environmental and social safeguards as per World Bank guidelines.

Age and Compensation

  • Maximum Age: 65 years
  • Monthly Compensation: Competitive package as per Sindh Management Position Scale Policy 2022
