Instructions and Application Process
Testing and Interviews: Candidates may undergo interviews, skill tests, and psychometric tests. Test venues and dates will be communicated later via SMS or the SSU website.
Document Verification: Candidates disqualified during document verification or character antecedents checks will have their registration cancelled even if they qualify all tests.
Age Relaxation: Up to 15 years of age relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Sindh Government’s notification.
Government Employees: Candidates already in government service must apply through the proper channel.
No TA/DA: No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for tests/interviews.
Application Documents: Applications should be accompanied by all relevant documents. Candidates must sign a declaration that all information provided is correct.
Quotas: There is a 5% quota each for women and minority (non-Muslim) candidates. Additionally, 40% of the positions are reserved for urban areas and 60% for rural areas as per the government policy.
Posting: Selected candidates will be posted anywhere in Sindh Province.
Disable Quota: Posts for disabled candidates will be published separately in newspapers.
Additional Marks: 15 additional marks will be given to candidates who are the children of retired or serving employees of Sindh Police with at least 25 years of service, upon qualifying all tests.
Online: Candidates can apply online through the SSU web portal.
Manual: Application forms can be obtained from the SSU website. Completed forms, along with a copy of the CNIC, should be sent to the Commandant, Special Security Unit (SSU), Police Headquarters, Hassan Square, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block-15, Karachi, via registered post or courier service (Pakistan Post/TCS/UMS).
Last Date: The last date for submitting applications is May 28, 2024.
