State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan Employment Opportunity: Actuarial Training Scheme
Pakistan’s largest life and health insurance institution, the State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, offers a remarkable career opportunity for students with Intermediate, A-Level, or equivalent qualifications to pursue a career as Fellows of the Society of Actuaries (USA) or the Institute of Actuaries (UK). State Life’s Offer: During the two-year training period, a monthly stipend of PKR 20,000 will be provided.
Objective: Upon successful completion of the two-year training (i.e., passing two subjects from the Institute of Actuaries or two exams from the Society of Actuaries), a permanent position as Executive Officer will be offered, along with an attractive salary package and benefits. Further career advancement and salary increases will be available upon passing additional actuarial exams. Study leaves will be granted, and financial assistance for course and exam fees will be provided.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Academic Requirements: Applicants must have passed the Intermediate examination with at least 75% overall marks and a minimum of 80% in Mathematics, or have at least five subjects passed in London/Cambridge G.C.E (O-Level) including a pass in English Language/Literature, and at least two passes at Advanced Level (A-Level) with at least one pass in Mathematics at A grade or a B grade in Further Mathematics, and other passes with at least C grade.
- Age: The age for joining the scheme must be between 16 and 20 years as of the advertisement’s publication date. However, for regular employment within the corporation, the minimum age must be 18 years.

Along with the application form, two passport-sized photographs, a copy of the applicant’s CNIC, and attested copies of educational certificates must be submitted within 30 days of the advertisement’s publication.
