Career Opportunity: Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director at SSGC

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC), a leading public sector entity in Pakistan, is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic, and experienced professional to lead the company as the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director.

Position Overview:

The Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director will serve as the strategic leader of SSGC, responsible for the company’s strategic direction, operational efficiency, financial performance, and overall success. This role demands a visionary leader with the capability to inspire the organization towards its mission, values, and strategic objectives. The Managing Director will craft a dynamic strategic blueprint aimed at enhancing the company’s revenue streams, profitability, and growth. The role includes transforming the company and building its public image, under the supervision of the Board.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue and profitability.
Enhance the company’s public image and implement necessary reforms.
Ensure operational efficiency and cost-effective management of resources.
Maintain accountability to the Board for strategic and operational outcomes.
Navigate domestic and international energy sector dynamics with legal acumen.
Manage stakeholder relationships and implement best practices in corporate governance, risk management, and HSEQA.
Lead change management, organizational restructuring, and succession planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: Graduate degree in Engineering, Economics, Energy Management, Engineering Management, Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, or Law from a reputable institution recognized by HEC. Preference for postgraduates.
Experience: Minimum of 20 years post-qualification experience in large organizations, with at least 5 years in a C-suite position in the oil and gas sector.
