Suparco Institute of Technical Training (SITT) Karachi Announces Apprenticeship Scheme 2024

Suparco Institute of Technical Training (SITT) in Karachi, operating under Pakistan’s National Space Agency, SUPARCO, and affiliated with the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE), Karachi, invites applications for its three-year apprenticeship training program. This program leads to a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electronics and Mechanical disciplines for both boys and girls.

Employment and Bond Period

Upon successful completion of the three-year training, candidates may be offered employment at SUPARCO, subject to organizational needs and individual performance. Those offered employment must commit to serving SUPARCO for a minimum of five years.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: SSC (Science Group) with a minimum of 70% marks. Candidates awaiting Matric results may apply with a minimum of 68% marks in 9th grade, but the SSC mark sheet is required on the test day.
• Age: Born between 22-Jul-2007 and 21-Jul-2009 (inclusive).
• Fitness: Must be medically fit.
• Nationality: Must be a Pakistani national (dual/foreign nationality not permitted).
• Marital Status: Unmarried.
• 

Important Notes

• Due to limited seats, only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test and interview.
• The admission test will be conducted simultaneously in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
• Selected apprentices are not allowed to enroll in other institutions during the three-year training period.
• Discipline (Mechanical or Electronics) will be assigned based on merit and requirements.
• Hostel accommodation is available for outstation apprentices, subject to availability.
• Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting; only the most suitable candidates will be selected based on merit if there are many applicants.
• The organization reserves the right to reject any application at any stage without providing a reason.
