MANAGEMENT TRAINEE PROGRAMME
Introduction
Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), a state-owned enterprise under the administrative control of the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan, is responsible for the exploration, mining, and marketing of various minerals. As part of its commitment to capacity building, PMDC is offering an on-the-job training opportunity as Management Trainee through a one-year contractual engagement.
Eligibility Criteria
Local or foreign-qualified Pakistani nationals meeting the following criteria are eligible to apply:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (minimum 16 years of education) or equivalent from a reputable institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
- Maximum age of 28 years on the date of advertisement.
- Minimum 3.0 CGPA.
- Graduated in the years 2023 with or without post-qualification experience.

Management Trainee (Mining) – 05 posts
- Qualification: BE/BS Mining Engineering recognized by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)
Management Trainee (Geology) – 05 posts
- Qualification: Bachelors/Masters in Geology
Management Trainee (HR) – 02 posts
- Qualification: MBA/Masters in HR
Management Trainee (Finance/Accounts) – 03 posts
- Qualification: ACCA/ACMA/CIMA
Application Process
- Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria will undergo a written test and interview.
- Selection will be based on merit, with 30% weightage on education marks, 40% on test assessment, and 30% on interview evaluation.
- Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 80,000/-.
- Incomplete and late applications will not be entertained.
- Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview/test.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
- The last date for submission of applications is 25.05.2024.
