QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• For Professors & Associate Professors:
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC/PMC.
  • Level-III qualification (e.g., FCPS/MD/MS/MRCP/FRCS) in the relevant specialty.
  • Professors: At least 3 years of teaching experience as an Associate Professor or 9 years as an Assistant Professor with a minimum of 6 research papers published in recognized medical journals.
  • Associate Professors: At least 3 years of teaching experience as an Associate Professor or 9 years as an Assistant Professor with a minimum of 6 research papers published in recognized medical journals.
• For Assistant Professors:
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC/PMC.
  • Level-II or Level-III qualification in the respective basic subject.
  • At least 5 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor with a preference for original research published in standard medical journals.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. Submit two sets of attested photocopies of all certificates/documents, including PMDC/PMC registration, experience certificates, and CNIC along with recent photographs.
2. Include copies of research publications, if applicable.
3. The appointment is subject to revocation by the competent authority.
4. PMDC/PMC registration must be valid on the closing date. If expired, a receipt for the renewal application is acceptable.
5. Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
6. Applicants must possess a domicile certificate from any district in Punjab.
7. Age relaxation of five years for males and eight years for females is applicable as per Government of Punjab S&GAD circular.
8. Current employees should apply through proper channels with an NOC.
9. Candidates dismissed or removed from Government Service are ineligible.
10. Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.
11. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
