CONDUCT OF “ZERO PERIOD” IN ALL PUBLIC / PRIVATE SCHOOLS ON DENGUE & SMOG AWARENESS
Reference the meeting of the Cabinet Committee for all infectious diseases, including Dengue and Disaster Management, held under the chairmanship of the Minister, SHC&ME Department & P&SH Department, Punjab on 13th May, 2024, wherein it has been directed that departments take special focus on raising awareness about Dengue & Smog among the students in both public and private schools.
It has also been emphasized by the authority that the “ZERO PERIOD” on Dengue and Smog awareness in all public/private schools shall be ensured on a daily basis, along with the following measures:
Display of Dengue/Smog related banners, posters & charts
100% Coverage of all Dengue Hotspots
Cleanliness (premises, toilets, water tanks, rooftops, etc.)
I am therefore directed to request that necessary directions may be disseminated to anti-Dengue focal persons and all Heads of schools (public/private) for compliance with directions in true letter and spirit.

All the Principals, Cadet Colleges (Chakwal, Hasanabdaal, Okara, Esa Khel & Pasrur) are requested for conduct of “Zero Period” on Dengue & Smog in their respective Cadet College on a daily basis.
