Recruitment for Soldiers in the Pakistan Army

Serve the nation by joining the Pakistan Army. Registration and recruitment for soldiers in the Pakistan Army will take place from September 2 to November 22, 2024 for Join Pak Army as a Soldier.

Eligibility/Requirements:

• Eligibility: Married/unmarried male citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
• Requirements:
  • Soldier General Duty Trade
  • Soldier Technical Trade
  • Soldier Military Police Trade
  • Soldier Driver
  • Clerk
  • Cook
  • Sanitary Worker

Age Requirements:

• For all candidates: 17½ to 23 years as of November 30, 2024.
• For Sanitary Workers: 17½ to 35 years as of November 30, 2024.

Educational Qualifications:

• Soldier General Duty / Soldier Driver / Soldier Military Police: Minimum of Matric or higher. For candidates from Balochistan, merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and children of martyrs, a minimum of middle education is required.
• Soldier Technical Trade: Minimum of Matric Science with at least a C grade. Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications.
• Clerk: Minimum of Intermediate with at least a C grade. For candidates from Balochistan, merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan, a D grade in Intermediate is acceptable. Candidates with a computer diploma and higher qualifications preferred.
• Cook: Minimum of middle education. Candidates with cooking experience given preference. Graduates or higher-qualified candidates will receive a one-year age relaxation.
• Sanitary Worker: Illiterate (maximum education primary). A two-year age relaxation is granted to relatives of martyrs, war-wounded personnel, and those with a valid driving license, who will also be given preference in recruitment.

Minority Quota:

• A quota reserved for minorities.
• Candidates from Balochistan and merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are eligible for up to a three-year age relaxation.

Required Documents:

• Height Requirements:
  • Soldier General Duty / Soldier Driver / Soldier Technical: Minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).
  • Soldier Military Police: Minimum height of 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm).
  • Clerk, Cook, and Sanitary Worker: Minimum height of 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).
• Original documents with two attested photocopies.
• Four passport-size photographs.
• Computerized National Identity Card.
• Domicile and State Resident Certificate (for candidates from Azad Kashmir).
• Candidates from Balochistan, merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan are eligible for up to a two-inch height relaxation. Relevant documents must be provided for those claiming relaxation.

Selection Process: Candidates can register online at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk from September 2 to November 22, 2024. Online registration is not mandatory; candidates can also register at the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Office or Regimental Center during the same period.
