Ministry of Commerce Non-Gazetted Staff Jobs – June 2024
The Government of Pakistan has announced regular vacancies for BPS-01 to BPS-15 positions in the Ministry of Commerce. Qualified candidates are invited to apply for the following positions:
Assistant (BPS-15):
14 Vacancies
Qualification: Graduation. A two-week basic IT course conducted by NITB is mandatory before completion of the probation period.
Age: 18 to 33 years (includes 05 years general relaxation).
Statistical Assistant (BPS-15):
1 Vacancy
Qualification: Graduation with Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Age: 18 to 30 years (includes 05 years general relaxation).
Steno-typist (BPS-14):
38 Vacancies
Qualification: Intermediate. A minimum speed of 80/40 w.p.m in shorthand/typing respectively. Must be computer literate.
Age: 18 to 30 years (includes 05 years general relaxation).
Upper Division Clerk (UDC) (BPS-13):
8 Vacancies
Qualification: Intermediate. A three-week IT course conducted by ITB is mandatory before completion of the probation period.
Age: 18 to 30 years (includes 05 years general relaxation).
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (BPS-11):
27 Vacancies
Qualification: Matriculation with a minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m.
Age: 18 to 30 years (includes 05 years general relaxation).
Staff Car Driver (BPS-04):
12 Vacancies
Qualification: Valid driving license. A three-week IT course conducted by ITB is mandatory before completion of the probation period.
Age: 18 to 35 years (includes 05 years general relaxation).
Dispatch Rider (BPS-04):
2 Vacancies
Qualification: Primary pass. Must have a valid driving license and be well-versed with traffic rules and signs.
Age: 18 to 35 years (includes 05 years general relaxation).
Naib Qasid (BPS-01):
30 Vacancies
Qualification: Primary pass.
Age: 18 to 30 years (includes 05 years general relaxation).
Farash (BPS-01):
3 Vacancies
Qualification: Primary pass.
Age: 18 to 30 years (includes 05 years general relaxation).
Chowkidar (BPS-01):
2 Vacancies
Qualification: Primary pass.
Age: 18 to 30 years (includes 05 years general relaxation).
Applicants should ensure they meet the qualification and age requirements before applying.
How to Apply:
Recruitment will be conducted in accordance with the Establishment Division’s recruitment policy issued via O.M. No. 53/1/2008-SP, dated October 22, 2014, and its subsequent amendments.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests or interviews.
A general age relaxation of five years is included in the age limits mentioned above. Any additional age relaxation will be provided according to applicable rules, policies, and O.M’s issued by the Establishment Division.
An application fee of Rs. 500/- must be deposited in the bank account specified in the Challan Form. The Challan Form can be downloaded after submitting the online application.
Candidates applying for multiple positions must submit separate applications and fees for each post.
Applicants currently employed in government service should apply through the proper channel and must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
Shortlisted candidates must present their original documents along with a set of attested copies of degrees and certificates issued by HEC/recognized boards/universities/institutes at the interview.
Information provided in the application form will be verified. If any false or forged information or fake or bogus documents are discovered, the Ministry of Commerce reserves the right to cancel the candidate’s application at any stage (even after appointment) and initiate legal action.
The Ministry of Commerce reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process in whole or in part and to increase or decrease the number of posts as required at any stage without providing any reason.
No TA/DA will be provided for the test or interview.
