Ministry Of Interior Jobs 2024 as Legal Consultant. Applications are invited from suitable candidates to fill one (01) post of Legal Consultant (MP-1) on a contract basis for a period of three (03) years. The qualifications, experience, and eligibility criteria are as follows:

Position: Legal Consultant (MP-1)

Number of Posts: 01 (One)
Qualification/Experience/Eligibility Criteria:
- Ph.D. in relevant subject(s) with 07 years of professional experience
- or Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M. in International or Corporate Law) with 09 years of experience in legal drafting in the public sector or as a Consultant in the public sector.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
  - Vetting and drafting of legal instruments/International Treaties, Conventions, Agreements, MoUs/Contracts
  - Writ petitions, suits, and opinion writing for International Cooperation
  - Mutual Legal Assistance and Extradition cases, particularly related to organized trans-boundary crimes, Criminal Law, and International Law including Human Rights, immigration, and refugee laws.
- Minimum Age: 45 years
- Maximum Age: 62 years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.

Recruitment will be conducted as per the MP Scales Policy, 2020, as amended/updated by the Establishment Division from time to time.
