JOB OPPORTUNITY
Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the position of Technical Advisor (MP-I scale) on a contract basis in the Ministry of Maritime Affairs. The appointment will be made based on merit and in a transparent manner.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Educational Qualification:
Ph.D. in Ports/Shipping/Naval Sciences/Maritime Sciences/Maritime Business & Management from a globally recognized university/HEC with at least fourteen (14) years of professional experience, OR
Master’s degree in the relevant field with eighteen (18) years of experience in the relevant domain.
Experience and Age Limit:
Maximum age limit: 62 years (as of the closing date for applications).
Tenure and Termination
The contract will be for an initial period of three (03) years, extendable for up to two (02) additional years on an annual basis, contingent on satisfactory performance.
The contract may be terminated with one month’s notice from either side, or payment of one month’s basic pay in lieu of notice.
Pay Package
The Technical Advisor will receive a pay package according to MP-I Scale as per the Management Position Scale Policy.

Eligibility and selection will be in accordance with the existing MP Scale Policy-2020, available on the Ministry’s website.
